I often encounter this Focus at work because it often parks near the semi-protected space I like to park in that’s almost always open when I arrive. The Focus has not been washed in ages. Either that, or it has been washed, and keeps getting dirtied back up every weekend.

All I know is it has PA plates and that dealer tag frame is from a dealership in rural PA that’s 90 minutes from my office in the DC burbs. My company has a lot of people who commute from the more exurban & rural parts of Maryland, and folks from the southern parts of PA do commute into Maryland sometimes. S o it’s possible this could be someone who lives in a rural area and does outdoorsy things but commutes here.

Probably one of the more liberal Amish sects.
“OK, we can have cars, but they have to be a Ford Focus (or worse) and dirty AF all the time.”

I have a friend with a car like this. A Dodge Dart to be exact, that he uses to go camping/fishing most weekends. It’s always filthy and I laugh because of all the people to need a car with more ground clearance , it’s him.

I have definitely observed some fishing gear in the back seat and on the rear deck of this car.

Someone actually using the car for it’s intended purpose, an appliance. It’s an SE with steel wheels, so most likely a step above the base S. Possibly manual transmission, cloth interior. The S had power front windows and rear crank windows , so this will have 4 door power windows. Other than that, nothing special. Carry on toaster driver.

Or, assuming it’s a powershift unit, the owner just doesn’t drive it because it has problems?

I know it's being driven because it's not always in this space, or even in the garage at all.

I work in Savannah, Georgia and commute 90 miles a day into the rural parts of south east GA. I’ve considered trying to find a set of mild all terrain tires that grip in the dirt better to be honest. I own a 4x4 F150 but running two-three tanks a week out of the focus hurts enough!
